Brunette
A handcrafted, small batch, certified organic cold brew coffee liqueur. Produced by The Bordeaux Distilling Company, an independent distiller in this famous region of France with a philosophy of producing high quality premium spirits. Unlike other mainstream coffee liqueur brands, Brunette can trace every coffee bean to its origin ensuring a final product like no other.
The Challenge
Create a modern identity and label for Brunette, aimed at consumers who are ‘in the know’ with a high appreciation for meticulous details and craft.
The solution
A minimalist approach inspired by craft coffee culture and modern apothecary, where the product origin and processes are proudly showcased on the label. Subtle details were added in the form of coffee beans in the counter of e’s of the Brunette wordmark. The quality seal at the base of the label also has a creative touch with the depiction of a ‘coffee bean still’ icon.
